Sustainable Shipping, the pioneer in providing online news, information resources and events dedicated to marine transportation and the environment, was delighted to launch the inaugural Sustainable Shipping Awards in 2009.
Shipping has come under increasing environmental scrutiny with current issues such as the sulphur emissions legislation, pressure to reduce CO2 emissions and the continued threat of oil spills.
