About This Event

Following the enormous success of our emissions-focused forums in San Francisco, 2005, Copenhagen, 2006, and Long Beach, 2007, SustainableShipping Forums, an affiliate of Bunkerworld, was delighted to announce that it would host its first event in Asia – May 28-30, 2008.

Sustainable Shipping Forum: Fuelling a Cleaner Future offered a unique interface for the variety of stakeholders affected by regulatory changes within the marine fuel and shipping sectors – with the aim to debate and discuss real and practical solutions in meeting environmental legislation.

This forum was ideally placed and timed to provide a platform for progressive debate; boasting some of the world's leading authorities on the topics of shipping emissions facts, regulations, law, technological advances, refinery impact, emissions trading, financial and political implications.

Set in Singapore, the world's leading maritime and bunkering center, Fuelling a Cleaner Future provided a unique platform for dialogue on the environmental and economic sustainability in the bunker and shipping sectors.
